If you change your password via the security question then your account will get banned automatically. The reason for this is due to the fact that the answers to security questions were leaked when the forum was hacked last year. It looks like BadBear was active earlier today so it is possible that he might be able to help you.

That is somewhat what resetting your password via the security is yes, however if you do not have access to the email address associated with your account and have no way to gain access to your Password, then resetting via your security question will get you a little closer to gaining access to your account again.

you'll just have to be patient and hope that theymos will read the email soon. some people had to wait for months before their account get recovered.
also send an email again every 14 days if you get no reply (am sure an admin said this before. but I can't find the thread.).

They should email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com if they haven't already. (Their "account locked for security" message should have said this...) If I take longer than ~4 days to respond, they should resend their mail. It might not be necessary for them to sign using that address in particular.

it was 4 days!! my bad.

thanks.  i emailed again.  fingers crossed.

You might email every other week or something to make sure you are remembered.  It's kinda a thing you want to do enough to be remembered but not a pain.

But sadly it can take quite a while.  You can read other threads.  With it being known security question does this it's not at the top of the stack (I don't think at least).  So good news is you are not banned just locked.  Bad news is these can drag on for quite a while.
