...and if he said that then what? Personally I trust more the former NXT guys than that Hoskinson bloke.

was explained several times, it's a transfer from hot wallet to cold multisig wallet. you can check any incoming transfer at https://wavesplatform.com/contract_info

Not necessary, I will be very cautious about investing in wave. But somebody else will invest in it any way.
