When will we hear the word BITCOIN more often. I dont give a crap about private totalitarian blockchains, i want free and public blockchains , that are transparent and accountable like bitcoin.
The blockchain movement is just a diversion to grab attention from bitcoin.

The interesting aspect of that is a man facing some scrutiny over being connected to the panama papers,so not sure if we want him endorsing bitcoin on his way out the door. The banks love blockchain but not bitcoin and the reason they want it is so they can go back to controlling every aspect of our finances.

OMG he sat next to blockchain, so jelly. Yeah mate I heard him saying that he sat alongside Rate Setter Blockchain and I Walker and I thought he was joking then I realized he was talking about different companies. But isn't the Blockchain an open-source project? Does this mean anyone can show up at a trade show and claim they are representing the Blockchain technology even you and me?

I think what he meant was "next to the CEO of blockchain.info". Hence my attempt at a joke that seemed to have failed.

I guess blockchain is going to be the "hot" term for the coming few years. It has been mentioned by country leaders all over the world.
However, I think they purposely leave "bitcoin" out so that people will not think they are endorsing a cryptocurrency which has an ambiguous reputation.

Too bad he didn't mention the word Bitcoin itself, still a good find. But if things keep going like this, Bitcoin will be a household name

Well, it's always progress when big time politicians mention Bitcoin related stuff, but the real step forward is when they mention "Bitcoin". Notice how none of the big names in politics have even had the courage to mention Bitcoin, they always use some euphemism or the simply say blockchain technology or whatever.

Yeah I can't remember exactly when or where it taken, but it is definitely bum nose (Osborne). More than likely a token PR exercise to make himself look all modern and up-to-date. That's how they roll in the Nu-Tory Party, wishy washy public relations with no substance......
