Is anybody else having trouble visiting the airdrop alert.com website? My iPhone says it's an imposter website, possibly  trying to steal personal info. I've visited the site many times before but am suddenly recording this iPhone alert.

Yup. I actually went to their twitter and mentioned that to them. I ended up posting a tweet which linked the airdrop forms directly under their Twitter so that people would not be directed over to their .com and get the "Alert" message. I have used their site daily for about a month and this is the first time I have seen that message. It usually has to do with your browser (Firefox is what I am using), but who really knows? This is the world of cryptocurrency, hackers, and the unknown. I know that site is fairly new and it getting a lot of attention. My guess is that either they switched hosts due to bandwidth use and something got messed up in the migration, or that they have acquired some not-so-friendly enemies. I would lean towards the former.

That is the PRIVATE  wallet (means no exchange wallet ) not the private key!

Bytether just contacted our support to notify us that the airdrop is now open. Originally their plan was to start at Segwit 2x hardfork, but since that got cancelled they now use the block of the BCH fork.

If you held Bitcoins at the time of the BCH fork, you can now claim Bytether.

Thank you for voicing your concern. We have personally tested it with numerous wallets of our team and we all got the BTH tokens.

Since it's a cross-fork etherscan cannot find the token (yet). It does show if you check your MyEtherWallet.

It is not the simplest airdrop, but it is legit

on their btt thread nobody get bth, guys paid 2$ fee for nothing
your team received tokens? there are 3 transactions out of bth, which one are yours?

Like I explained above the BTH is not an outgoing transaction. It's  a crossfork and I believe it gets minted for every BTC you proof to have at the time of the Bitcoin Cash hardfork.

I'll state it one more time. If you follow the steps BTH does not show up on your etherscan, if you log into you MeW it will show there.

2. What if I want to have more ETH addresses, different for different airdrops? There's only one field.

1-No, Bitcoin Adress in only for BTC. You need to put ETH adress at 'Location' field.
2-Yeah it is a problem, but some airdrops have rules like that, you must fill the location with ETH Adress and sometimes must have some balance like 0.01 or more ETH or some transations.

recently got airdropped freetoken.pro and VIU on ethereum.. no idea what these are.

VIU got dropped to every Ethereum holder (I guess the rate was 5 VIU per 1 ETH. No idea about the other airdrop.
I hope I will receive my VIU too, haven't gotten them so far
