Isn't an "air drop" it's "money printing". Looks like cryptocurrencies are just like Fiat, created from thin air. The digital money printing could destroy the Blockchain idea because it is a huge flaw to allow duplication. You cannot duplicate Gold or Silver. Now is a good time to be owning some metals instead

First, Blockchain is one of the technologies Bitcoin (and other alts) depend on - it's not going away, unless someone finds a fatal flaw in its design (which, someone copying the tech and using it for their own purposes certainly isn't). Second, creating a new cryptocurrency is no more akin to money printing than me creating a new painting / whatever that will compete for the money someone is looking to invest.

Third, how do you extract the private key from Gold / Silver? That stuff is too heavy to carry around. (not to mention, you will probably depend on third parties to store and take care of it for you, and it's too easy for governments to confiscate, if they so choose)

It's probably also wise to advise them to use specifically created Email / Twitter / Facebook / Telegram / whatever accounts when joining these things (as opposed to using their regular accounts) - just in case.

I don't even know if it was a scam or a hack... But I'd call it a scam as well... I got removed from the group I couldn't contact the dev on telegram..  It seems like his account was deleted...

Just right after he dumped all tokens in yobit invest box

I was suppose to get 1eth and 50k DVD token for moderation and distributing claimed rewards... But I got nothing

got more around 20 airdrops in myetherwallet so far. not bad at all. if we keep an eye on new airdrops and participate, most of them will send you tokens, in my experience. But few of them are scams. Never send donations to airdrops that send a google form, or share your private key with anyone, even if they claim they don't store it. Keep a spreadsheet containing important details of each airdrops you participate, so you can effectively manage them. check the telegram groups regularly and participate actively on them. Be active on bitcointalk as well, that will improve your credibility when attending airdrops. If you got enough time and ready to work hard, you can attend bounty campaigns as well. bounty campaigns fetch you more tokens than airdrops.

Me 115airdroped coins  but 50% of them are shitcoins with no value
