Actually there was an instamine situation within the first 24 hours, which has been openly and officially acknowledged twice and had plenty of views :

https://dashdot.io/alpha/?page_id=118
https://dashtalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162/

However more then 2 years have passed, the Dash community has moved on a long long time ago and a lot of development has taken place that gives the Dash community
a lot of trust in their dev team. There is a lot of potential with Dash's governance and budget system and its 2-tier system.

TPTB_need war is being paid by Monero to support their cause.

that doesnt sound true.  he just doesnt hate it.

Seriously and sincerely, what is currently the best name in crypto in your opinion?

<sarcastic>Moaneuro again?</sarcastic>

Seriously I don't hate Monero. Just a different culture than mine which I will explain below.. (and the source of angst by those who want their freedom to innovate in this altcoin space is Monero folk infecting every discussion with veiled FUD designed to essentially say that "open source will defeat you, we are more honest, more open, more fairly launched, more rational, and have more resources")

Monero is not an entity so your sentence is misconstructed. Anyway, I'm not paying him and I don't know anyone who is.

I also doubt he would take money from anyone to shill. That's very much inconsistent with his fiercely independent character.

Quote
There IS NO INSTAMINE. Do your fucking research

Independent research the first version of which almost (but not quite) predates Monero (late April 2014). Certainly it predates Monero as a significant organized project.

EDIT: credit to qwizzle for at least acknowledging the instamine, unlike the stupid first post here.

2001 Steve Ballmer Linux is a Cancer because of GPL v2 http://www.theregister.co.uk/2001/06/02/ballmer_linux_is_a_cancer/

15 years later ...

2016 Microsoft adds Bash command line to Windows 10. Bash is licensed under GPL v3 http://www.theverge.com/2016/3/30/11331014/microsoft-windows-linux-ubuntu-bash Now when it comes to DRM and proprietary software the horns of version three of the GNU are several orders of magnitude larger and sharper than the horns of version 2 of the GNU.

My bet remains on Free Libre Open Source Software.

Edit: https://www.gnu.org/software/bash/

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Dash stands for digital cash. Think about it.

It's time to support the number 1 coin in fungibility.

There has never been a greater time to support Dash.

Ask yourself: Why do they troll Dash so much?

Because they are afraid.

Look at the protagonists.

They are scared that they are about to lose their number 1 position and that is something you should be aware of.

TPTB_need war is being paid by Monero to support their cause. Think about it. Why would he just suddenly turn around and support Bitcoin and Monero after years of saying 666 is going to come and get you.

He sold out because of his illness. And Smooth and icebreaker are the ones who paid him.

Listen, you can troll Dash as much as you want... it only go to show that DASH is the superior coin. Ask yourself why Smooth never show his face?

They are try to put you in a corner.

There IS NO INSTAMINE. Do your fucking research.

Buy DASH. It's not only the BEST coin, but it will also rub in their face just what they don't want you to want to know.

ROFLMAO

Here's my prediction: A year from now this will prove to be advice from a price perspective as the market figures out what we already know - DASH has weak technology. The instamine could be fixed if someone wanted to fork DASH - not happening.

Also, a year from now we won't see another post from MrGood.

A rather weak pump attempt, fraught with errors of fact--and I'm not usually one to hate on Dash too much.  So much bile being flung about--and yet Dash is hanging in there.  It may turn out that the instamine and stuff won't matter.  If the community is strong enough, it shouldn't matter.  Chiropractic medicine was built on absolute garbage pseudoscience and has mostly overcome that over the years.  But it's up in the air whether that'll be Dash or whether Dash will turn out like homeopathy instead.

Dash stands for digital trash.

FTFY

Yes there was an instamine that is well documented and is actively avoided to be talked about by EVAN the instaminer like the plague.

This is due to the oligarchy that dash created forces masternode holders (great name btw) to hold their coins if they want to reap the rewards of their master status and continually try to hype greater fools to pay a premium for centralized services. What's great (or what should be great) about the world of programmable money is that if a coin fails to meet my criteria for what I want (political, investment, meme, ect.) then I should be able to move effortlessly to another coin. The creator's of dash must have realized that old world systems used greed and fear as the prime motivators to motivate its peasantry and decided that this route was still viable in a world that's half-out/half-in of the information age. But seeing as the flow of information is continually improving and the flow of misinformation (manipulated information) is continually slowing, as it has to take the extra step of meeting approval, this mode of cryptocurrency will meet an inglorious end. It's tough to break bad habits, but the information age can give us better, and sometimes worse, habits at near the speed of light.
