Because it's not like facebook or other sites that are constantly trying to sell your data to companies, or blast you with ads. It's a simple, pure, aesthetically-pleasing, censorship-free, social networking site. But you can only get invited if you know someone who has invite codes to share... or find someone who's willing to sell you one. And my price is low, because I want more bitcoin enthusiasts on the site.
