Is this forum full of Bitcoin shills or what? Is it possible so many people are totally blind to see Bitcoin is in agony which will most probably end by proclaiming patient's death in July after halving event. Yeah not in this year for sure and may be not possible in next year too, I think it will take at least a decade to reach there and that also if we see mass adaption in coming years.

Block halving in 2012 led us to go from $10 to $260, the equivalent with this halving would be $10,000. It is possible $2,000-$3,000, I just think people way underestimate this train.

I see more of $1k happening then 10k marker.

But if we hit a $1k marker and see some crazy bubble happen to $7k then $10k, it would mean some exchange is ready to pop and open the can of worms they been holding..

That true.Mass adoption can really fuel bitcoin price to reach new records.As more people adopt btc,its demand will go up.Short supply and high demand usually leads to high price.Thats a simple law of economic

There's nothing in the horizon to indicate a rise to $1000, let alone $10000.

The last buble to $1K bitcoin was possible due to a confluence of factors such as MtGox and China. MtGox is DEAD; China is already in. Bitcoin can only attract so many people, it has reached its current limit. It's too difficult to understand, use, and take risk in; those of us who can understand, use and take risk in, have already done it. The rest of the world don't understand it, don't need it, and won't risk their shirts.

Bitcoin is NOT like smartphones which gave cheap portable internet-enabled computers to people; bitcoin is money for the internet which is totally cool and innovative but it's limited to those who can understand how to use it--this is a problem because money is an important thing to everyone's daily lives, who wants to risk losing their shirts to internet money? especially when there are simple and established ways (credit card, western union, bank wire) to send/receive money already?

unfortunately i don't see that happening this year. i think 1k is very realistic but if we even reach that we will see a correction to the 500-600 range. for btc to reach 10k in such as short period of time we would need combination of factors to go along with the halving for which I can't seem to think of.  i bought btc at $8 and never thought it would reach as high as it did...so yeah I've definitely been wrong.

$10,000 is way too far for really if we are speculating only for this year. Rate should have climb or should I say jumped leaps and bounds before we can say yes it can reach even half of it. We cant even reach breach the $500 level.

I think it will not happen this year. $ 10 000 price is too high for the current bitcoin, it might not happen even if halving happen, and maybe this year the highest price is $ 700 for bitcoin

10,000 only happens when the dollar drastically loses value.   Yes its perfectly possible and the bitcoin price would be way higher if people realised just how shored up the value of US dollar is.   There is an excess of supply to the basic demand for dollar based on its productive output, the distortion comes from foreign nationals using USA as a proxy for global trade.   
So vast change is possible but Im not sure this year is when it happens, maybe if Trump gets in he'll deliver the results promised by his predecessor real change; though maybe not all desirable
