What's happening with the people here? It's pure insanity thinking the price has even the slightest chance of reaching $10,000 this year.

Yeah,totally unrealistic, i mean, just for this year. In 5 or 6 years....very very possible.... Yes it is really unrealistic many people are saying even that the value will not even rise after the halving so that is already bad and many people will get angry if they sees that. It will only be possible to reach that value after some 10 years or something but now it will not happen. |

It's highly unprobable that BTC will reach 10k, but again who thought it could reach 1K when it was in 2011-2012 !!??
So basically anything can happen.

I think it is too much wishfull thinking. Maybe near $1000 but not around $10,000.
I saw went up from 14 to more than 200 and it was incredible, later I saw (and be sold again) going to more than 1000, this is bitcoin, anything can happen. This time I'm going to truly believe. |

This time I'm going to truly believe. the difference between now and how it was back then is very different and can't be compared to each other as there is much more money involved today. back then you could pump the price x2-×3 with a very low amount. that amount isn't even enough to nowadays pump the price up with 30-40% (depending on the exchange). |

I think $10k is only possible if the block size problem is solved for good; this might produce enough media hype to fuel an enormous bubble. $10k spike is certainly possible, but it's unlikely to happen very soon. I think the long time average value won't climb to over $600 if max block size stays at 1M. These are interconnected: more demand = more users => more transactions => larger blocks.

a x10 increase is very doable once the fear of missing kicks in and all the big fortunes start feeling like massive idiots by not owning some Bitcoins. I think this will happen sooner than a lot of people expect, specially in china, once capital controls kick in heavy they will flock into Bitcoin like crazy.

Yeah,totally unrealistic, i mean, just for this year. In 5 or 6 years....very very possible.... No 10000 is out of question. the realistic value will be 1000 by the end of this year. At the Halving we are hoping it will go beyond that. We wait for this. |

No we are not gonna hit the 10k this year or the years after this one, I think its just not possible right now and its the question if this will ever be possible.
I think its maybe possible if the bitcoin will get a lot more media attention but this is far from now so I think this year its not possible and the coming 10 years also not.

I hoping that the price will hit 10k value but obviously its impossible to hit that value for bitcoin.. and my speculation the price value will be double or will hit around 600-800 value,. if we are lucky to hit that price to day no matter what happen i will collect more bitcoins.. because dont have money to start buying more bitcoin. thats why i am trying hard in trading.. also collecting more mrai to sell it in trading site once they launch it..

Wow let's be a little bit realistic (even with bitcoin you will never know)
Hitting $10,000 this year is so hard in my opinion, it will takes 2-3 years with a constant positive growth to reach it, which isn't the case for the moment

I am not even considering that it is possible to reach $1000 per btc this year. your speculation is not realistic at all. you are talking about more than 24 double from the current price which can not happen in a short period like this

it is definitely possible thing to happen in my opinion because the halving will make the price increase really far up because a lot of people will be buying bitcoins really fast i think that it is possible to reach 10 thousand dollars this year and if this will not happen we will surely go to at least a new all time high that will make us a lot of money |

But you see, the jump from 14 to 200 or from 200 to 1000 requires much much less money than from 1000 to 10'000. Not saying it's impossible but it's very very unlikely. It whoul give BTC a monstruos market cap |
