TradeHill now has a referral program where you can get others to sign up using your code and earn a commission each time. Here's the details from their site:

Quote
"Participating in the TradeHill Affiliate Program allows you to generate referral codes. Anyone who creates an account with TradeHill using your code will generate revenue for you when they trade. This code can be placed in ads, used on forums, sent in emails and a variety of other ways. Funds earned through this program will automatically be credited to your account. You can find your referral code by going to your user profile. This code can be provided to other users or can be embedded in URLs [http://www.tradehill.com/?r=YOURCODE]. If you're interested in learning more please send an email to Info@tradehill.com or contact us."

That being said, if you want to join up on tradehill, here's a link to get started (and referring others!):

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

So, why specifically did you say miners might want to make use of this?

Well, it seems like free % BTC to me for everyone that starts making use of it. But I originally deleted this thread as it's shamefully spammy and I immediately was unsure about having posted it. I think you must have replied around that time though, as it seems to still exist?

I apologize to everyone for this thread and have edited out my referral code.

If looking for Refcodes, please just go to the marketplace or trading discussion forums, or look at people's signatures: They are full of that stuff!

The nice thing here is, that you (when using a refcode) only pay 0.5% commission on trades instead of 0.75%.
You can check this via clicking on your username in the top right corner ("Commission Rate: 0.50%.")

What tradehill currently needs most atm. though are buyers... the prices are even higher than MtGox currently (good for miners!) but it seems a bit harder (especially for non-US people) to get money there (not so good for someone looking forward to sell lots of BTC).
It might however in the longer run pay off to sell your daily profit there instead of MtGox due to the lower fee.

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.
