The devil is down there. That's why we are having all these earthquakes, like in Japan and Ecuador. The devil is trying to get out. He's smashing his fists against the inside of the earth trying to break free. And the more people talk against God like the atheists do, the happier and more optimistic the devil becomes. One of these days he will break free. Woe to the world when that happens.
The devil is not shaking his fist and trying to get out, he is not yet bound.
The people who say that the millennium is yet to come are mistaken. Revelation 20:1-3 says:
And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
The angel that came down out of Heaven is Jesus. The key and chain are the Word of God and the strength that Jesus has in obeying it perfectly. The thousand years is not literal, but is figurative for a very long time. The abyss is death, and that is where Jesus sent the devil when He arose from the dead. In earlier translations the abyss was translated as the bottomless pit. A pit at that terminated at the center of the earth would be bottomless, because gravity would pull equally in all directions. The setting free is being done by people calling for the devil rather than for God.
The devil is not shaking his fist. He is pounding against the inside of prison center-of-the earth, ready to come up. He is already awake and alive as the people of the world (especially Islam) have asked for him... whether they know it or not... by rejecting Jesus salvation.
Earthquakes are because the foundational rocks of the Earth are moving slightly against one another.
The Earth is continually rotating, so the foundations of the Earth move from time to time and this movement is observed along their meeting points [fault lines] that is when earthquakes occur.
Good theory. But nobody knows this, or can tell why he thinks it in convincible detail. It doesn't really explain why the foundations move against each other. Of course, nobody really knows that. But, the devil/abyss theory explains it very well.
