Its funny you bring this up,have been watching a thread on Betcoin.tm and how they are not processing any withdraws from accounts. Was trying to think the same thing, since some one did say it could happen and could not recall any at the time.

Well, they've been accused of scaming a lot. I'm more interesting of sudden bankroll loses of trusted casinos.

There are some instance of services being hacked and some people claim that the hacker was an excuse for the site steal the money of everyone, so you may look for cases of casinos being hacked too.
also there are some scam sites where you deposit and will never be able to withdraw, of course they are not the most popular sites around, I think there is a list of such sites somewhere in this section

Scammers of bankrolled sites who ran off: Dice.Ninja, Diggit.io, Diceco.in, IceDice, Win88, CoinWin
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Legitimate bankrolled sites that have good history: Moneypot.com, BitDice.me, BetKing.io (formerly PRC), Dicenow.com, SatoshiDice.com, Just-dice.com (clams only though)
Personally I have a bit invested into all of these (some more than others) and think they're all a good safe option to consider (you can never know for certain though).
That's what I was looking for, thanks!

Why Diceco.in appear like a scam website ? My sincerest apologies. This was a slip up, as I meant to mention a site that is very similar to that name that was directly taking investments. Diceco.in is a very legitimate site and the people behind it have shown to be trustworthy from all my interactions with them. I wouldn't hesitate to play there anytime. This cost us alot!

There were many, most are mentioned above, I don't remember the names for others but dicebitco.in was another scam site, they were caught messing with nonce to steal from gamblers iirc, though not sure if they ran away with investor's funds or not.

there has been a lot of short span gambling sites that is not very popular. i know of a few in the past few years that they only survive like a few months to half a year and then they disappear with all the credits. Some claimed that they have lost all the btc while some just disappear into thin air.

Yes, there definitely have been scams like that. It is very important to realize that. I would be extra cautious with 1) relatively newer sites, especially if they (seem) to grow quick 2) sites with an inactive admin. But in the end any (crowdfunded) casino site could end up scamming you. Either by stealing the bankroll, rigging your rolls (if u don't verify your bets), faking winning players when you invest (without you noticing it!) or if they get hacked (which might be unnoticed for you too.) You only own the bitcoins if only you have the private keys for that address. An overview (be free to add/adjust/suggest): Confirmed scamsSite | Opening date | Gone | Open for | Invested amount | dice.ninja | 2014-08-19 | 2014-10-10 | ~2 months | BTC 2,144 | dicebitco.in | 2014-07-30 | 2014-10-07 | ~2 months | BTC ~200 (estimate of mateo winnings?) | cryptocoins-dice.com | 2015-01-20 | 2015-03-14 | ~2 months | BTC ~150 | ice-dice.com | 2013-09-22 | 2015-01-31 | ~16 months | BTC 10+ (estimate of reported losses) | win88.me | 2014-05-31 | 2015-09-10 | ~15 months | BTC ~10 (estimate of reported losses) | coinwin.us | 2014-07-19 | 2015-01-23 | ~6 months | BTC ~10 (estimate of reported losses) | everydice.com | 2014-02-20 | 2014-05-26 | ~3 months | BTC ? If you invest in morr famous gambling site or gambling wallet like moneypot you will get lower risk or lossing all you have invested as they are quite trustworthy till now and are accepted by lots of gambling site. Some single game casino site can easily run with all the bankroll stating someone has hacked their wallet or blah blah etc. They dont use escrow so owner can easily run away woth all bankroll.

Yeaaa even a reputable site can turn to scam and run with our investment money. So would better if we move investment money periodically from a site to another site. Who knows a high reputation site like betking.io with over 3,000 bitcoin invested can run away but we wish it will never happened.

I too invested in Crypto-Games.net, but nothing seems to guarantee safety in future (although owners seems like a really cool guys). I think the best way is to split investment between 5-10 good casinos.
