You'd have to know which alt and then ask in the appropriate sub-section.

For a lot of altcoins (but not all), you can use gitian to build a mac osx wallet (i think gitian is the simplest way to build windows, linux and mac wallets).
I think you needed some dependancies that could only be found on a mac desktop tough (if i remember correctly).

IMPORTANT: In order to compile the Mac OSX binaries you will need to place the
MacOSX10.7.sdk.tar.gz file in the gitian-builder/inputs folder.
Find out the steps to create this file from the bitcoin documentation.
