Reddit News Site Now Accepts Bitcoin

The anonymous digital currency Bitcoin, which is already accepted on the Wordpress blogging site, has another mainstream partner. Reddit, the social news and entertainment site, now accepts bitcoins as payment for Reddit Gold, a subscription service.

Muted is good unless you are just looking for a quick bubble hype mania to profit from noobs.  I see Bitcoin as a marathon not a sprint.   Time and steady growth (in features, adoption, security, clients, merchants, press) is all it needs.

I'm not lookin' to profit off anyone as I'm not a trader.  I just like to see big news stories and good coverage.  It just seems like if Gallagher did an AMA it would be more noted than this

When too much noise is made about bitcoin, detractors are prone to point out that bitcoin users try to attract new users to whom they can sell their bitcoins at a record high.  So media noise about bitcoin really makes it look like a Ponzi scheme.

It's much better if media shut the f..k up about bitcoin and let bitcoin users use it with serenity.
