Long story short,I shifted to multibit it from electrum because the later doesn't store addresses that much and u lost some bitcoins because of that reason. Now that I have multibit, there had been 2 ugrades since I installed almost 6 months back with problems rising in increasing order.First version I installed which I think was 0.1 everything was fine till I installed 0.2 and the sync process took way longer than in 0.1.I continued till now as soon as I installed 0.3 my PC crashes every time I open multibit hd.Any suggestion or a far better hardware wallet can be a good advice.

What type of PC are you using ?
The only way I can think of MultiBit HD actually crashing your PC was if it ran out of memory (in which case the app should close and not the PC crash but I guess that depends on the operating system).
