Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?

no i don't think that we will have a sudden drop in price as people just buys more and more bitcoins each day now, so this means that it will be more popular, so more bitcoins will be bought

and i am very happy that price rises as i have some bitcoins saved, i think people buys bitcoins now because of halving, people hopes to sell these bitcoins for more after it

yeah, now sudden drops are not going to happen again, only a few dollars value can decrease suddenly but we cannot say that the price will decrease to a much lower value, as now because of halving more people are going to be prepared for that and are buying more for the future profit.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

if you look at the previous year may decline? in 2015 the price could touch $ 500 and this year did not reach $ 500
bitcoin is not always raising

You are right. it is not always rising. but it will always rise whenever the price will drop by chance. two month before bitcoin price was only 400$ and now it is almost 450$. and I think this is the beauty of bitcoin. if it stops it one rate then how could people get profit from trading and investing.

The beauty of Bitcoin is the volatility, that's what you're saying. The patterns of extreme swings and the subsequent profits that can be made off of the said swings make Bitcoin a goldmine for investors, and this is also part of what drives the price.

I think that in the future, there will be some price changes driven by actual supply changes, but for the most part, the value will be determined by the investors, and not a whole lot by the consumers.

The last few days we have seen the price slowly go down. It's a good buying opportunity for those who want profits in the short term, as we know that at some point, it's going to bounce back, and could even go as high as $480 by month's end.

The fact is that because of supply and demand variations and of the investors rate the price is being fluctuating, it will be stabilized as of halving is near and will become $500 by this month.

Hopefully your prediction is right cause I am already saving bitcoins now, I will keep it until halving and if the value are the halving has a substantial increase then I will cash some for profit while still retain the remaining BTC I have.

Don't worry about if it is not going high as $480 as long as it is stable on price line of $450 there is assurance on that line. But of course, who wants bitcoin to fall? Of course no one here. We just need to believe after halving that bitcoin
will have a good result after it.

nope, bitcoin is not rising continuously, it is just fluctuating, it is hovering around $450, hope the upcoming halving changes the present situation and makes the price to increase, providing more profits to its users.

I don't know how people define rise in price, but if we look at it from January this year or longer, then probably this is a rise in price already...The speculation about the halving is I think what's pumping the price to rise slowly...
if we look at the particular time period of course the price from January until this month price increases?
but if we look at the statistics and charts the market prices go up and down not always go up.
any pump there must be a dump?

there are enough people that missed great buying opportunities that are now desperately hoping for the price to go down so they can enter the market again.

yes sometimes some people always want to buy less than the current price, while prices continue to rise, so they miss the chance.
I guess the price will continue to rise until the end of the month of May at least we could be at 480. better 500 Cheesy

Compared to a big price change, what is happening from the past few weeks are just minor changes and there is really nothing to be worry about with it. Loosing 10$ is nothing to be worried about. In fact price has been stable at around $400 the past months and people are expecting for price to break $500 before or after the halving effect kicks in.

I think bitcoin will continue rising, the good thing it seems to have become a little bit more stable,I hope the good news about it and it's wider recognition will lead to a price increase.

yeah, we have collectively to believe that now bitcoin will rise, we will be tended to buy more and will invite others also to buy more bitcoin, which will continue to increase the demand of bitcoin and will increase ts price before the halving.

Bitcoin will keep on rising atleast till mid of the year. Bitcoin halving is approaching so demand and price of bitcoin is increasing. After the halving, it's price might fall abruptly.

Yes anything is possible with bitcoin, as its really difficult to predict what will be the price of bitcoin at halving or after halving totally depends on the user adaption.

There are zero historical charts that can make it any easier to develop a good analysis for the halving because it hasn't happened on a scale like this before. Based on what we've seen the price will increase fairly substantially and then go back down for a little while until miners are able to find the value that can pay for their mines to keep running. But that is a historical chart, and that may or may not happen in the future.

The price or the future of bitcoin is really unpredictable, for me, my basis is only the mass adoption and majority of bitcoin enthusiast here are optimistic that the price will rise eventually, that is just what I am holding right now. I invested already in bitcoins  but only what I can afford to lose.
