TL;DR: We’re looking for a developer with experience from websites that are "alive". Required skills: probably JQuery, JS, JSON etc.

Full version:

We’re currently a team of 4 people who are developing a “betting” game for Bitcoin that’s quite different from satoshiDice. We’re looking for person number 5 to help us with certain tasks.

We have been developing this game for 3-4 months by now, we have the funding in place, the testing is well into closed beta, the system is working well and the marketing materials is well underway. We’ve got a web designer, a designer to take care of the graphics, currently one investor and also a programmer to write the code for the game. What we need is a person who can help us wire up the back-end of our web-game. We don’t know exactly what we need; this is a weak spot of ours, but probably you need to know JQuery, JS, JSON and HTML. The system will work without this software wired up, but it will work way better with it.

It's a big advantage if you have experience with these kinds of things from before, so it’s nice if we can see what you’ve done before. We need fast implementation.

The end result we want is
1) To be able to display the balance of at least 3 Bitcoin addresses on our website. Some calculation might have to be performed before it’s displayed.
2) Data should also be extracted from MtGox, as we want the numbers to be available in both BTC and USD (perhaps even other currencies later).
3) To be able to display a countdown timer on our website.
4) Code that others can understand too (if they know the language)

Payment in shares, options and/or bitcoins.

Please reply below or PM me and we’ll get talking.

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi
