1 bitcoin is not a huge amount of money but i think that you still should be careful with them and don't invest in risky websites like gambling sites, or loaning sites as they are risky

so i would rather keep that bitcoins for a price rise, or even better - to use that bitcoin to start trading, because this way i will 100% get money, and not lose it

Id rather save it to my wallet and wait for price rise for tgese halving event coming surely you can earn profit with that and also if you cannot wait and you need to earn try to invest it in trading because by that you can make x2 or even x3 you profit in just single trade but you must be carefull on buying coins dont rush things to avoid lose,

I agree with you dear ubitcoin. We just need to be patient to hold our coins today. And it is more suggested and safer it we are just to save and hold our bitcoins today. I can't for this upcoming halving. Even I don't have idea on what will be the result of it, but I believe it will result a positive result.

I'd just keep the 1 BTC in my pocket... Chances are good that the BTC price will rise over the coming months/years... Why risk losing your coins when you get some profit by holding your coins anyways?
If you're really a risktaker, there are some casinos that let you invest in their bankroll, or some mixing sites that do the same (altough for a mixing site, a 1 BTC investment might not be enough)

While its plain and simple it will work as BTCs value will grow over time but that however would be a waiting game. if you can trade on altcoins or if you can just invest your 1 bitcoin to an ICO like DAO or Waves, it won't take much time for it to grow. There's always a risk same as waiting for bitcoin to grow which is also uncertain.

Yeah id rather save it and wait for halving rather than invest it on unkown invesment structure and surely  will turn lose for my money for putting in unknown investment environment, but  really tradings is the best platform of invest where you can put your money although its bit risky to lose money it is still best because you are the one oblige and handling your money on how you can earn with it, proper training and seek for help for those who experience more in trading.

Have the various booms and 'get rich quicks' contrasted with the crashes and high profile failures coloured peoples' expectations of investment with Bitcoin so much that returns of 5% APR are sneered at as being trivial and not worth bothering with but everything else is derided as a scam?

Is there any space for low risk investments comparable to the fiat markets (2-10% APR) in Bitcoin or would those kind of investments just get overlooked by people seeking the 'next big thing'?

People want the max out of their money. So max. profit with less risk. This is off course not how it works. WIth investments comes risk. The higher the risk the higher your potental profit etc.
If you can afford to take risk then buying bitcoins is a good thing to do. If net.. well perhaps you should stay away from high risk investments such as crypto currencies like bitcoin etc.

i wouldn't recommend using any ponzi schemes. avoid investing your Bitcoin on websites that don't explain what their doing their coins. Almost 100% of all 'investment" sites are scams.

As of now there's no the best place to invest your 1 btc.. all investment sites and cloudmining site are scams. .so its better to stay away from them.. if you really want to make a profit try trading risky but no so risky and high profit..

If i had 1btc i would let it at poloniex and wait the halving that is coming already less then two months to happen,that will be the best moment and an opportunity to make your 1btc,450 dollars being worth around 600 dollars maybe.

I think you suggest are risky and i think theres no safe place to invest bitcoin.. its better to buy and sell stuff.. like buy high rank account for low price and sell it for high price.. or some serial keys and sell it high.. this is better and i thin you are far in risk.. also investing at casino is so risky you can be lose or they will run your balance..

All investment are risky including buy and sell high rank bitcointalk accounts.  Regarding invest on casino, yes it is risky as well but you do not need to worry that they will run away with your balance as long as you invest in a trusted casino.

I agree with him, that all investments are risky and you need to take risk of it, if you are just waiting for the halving and storing your bitcoins then it is not sufficient if you are only holding few bitcoins. But for me, buying and selling of accounts is a way better investment.

Almost all investments have risk. risk is a part of an investment i even put 10 percent to it considering it as a loss but if i keep an eye on that 10% and if it will not be used to risk then it will be part of my profit.

so true. if you have 1 BTC it be the right time to invest. but I would suggest to play trading, because of all the businesses in the internet which has a very small risk is only on trade. but it also has some requirements for the risk to be small, that you have to really know and understand about the trade, because if you do not understand about the trade, it's all going to turn into a very big risk

really have to understand what your into.  do a little research analysis on how the whole system is being work out, learning on how others succeeded in their trades, and failures to be aware of it.
