If you wana take a speculative gamble, cash out the .5 btc you have and dabble with ETH.
Then hope for the best once other exchanges hold volume for ETH then cash out.

You can start your own lending thread and earn interest up to 7-10% per week. It's much better than investing in any ponzi website, holding it or gambling the money. Just use an escrow who can hold the BCT account as a collateral.
I agree with you this is what I'm thinking also if I have 1 btc, but of course I will choose only those people that I can trust and I know can buy the bitcoin that they borrowed to me and of course I will get collateral that would be profitable to me.

There are allot of places where you can invest your bitcoin. The most used investing method is investing in gamble sites thats to popular these days. But if it was my coin dont invest in gambling just 1 coin can better be stored.

There are some many trusted lender already in this community, so it will hard to compete with them to get profit from lending our money. Beside that, we need to have a good amount to start lending otherwise we will only get small profit from the interest.

That's way too much of a gamble for me. I don't think that's worth it at all as an investment, Ethereum. I'd rather gamble my coins at a bitcoin dice site than to invest in such a shitty altcoin. The price of ETH has reached the top a few weeks ago in my opinion, and even if it's going to go up further, it wouldn't be much. I think you should invest your 1 BTC in bitcoin itself. You can speculate on the long term, for the bitcoin price. Or if you are really desperate for short term profits, you should go with P2P lending, which is pretty profitable, albeit the risk it comes with.

If you are going to get in also in the industry of lending here in the community, well the competition for you will be tough. But I think if you want to build trust to this community this is the good way also to build it by lending, but the risk is very high.

Its debatable, but the exchange I`m referring to is when coinbase relabels their exchange just for eth. As for the whole p2p lending, its not worth it unless you have a good amount of bankroll depending the amount you are okay to lose with based on defaulted loans. The collateral is a must, but sometimes those collateral arent worth much esp if they take out .25 btc loan and they trade their btc account at best if sold for hoping the matching price point.

How about poloniex which is a daily basis interest.. but dont know if poloniex still active as of now or not.. because didnt heard any news about this exchange site.. lending in poloniex is better than start loaning in our lending section if poloniex still alive.. If this site is not active better to dont invest go to other buy altcoin is the best for now.. even a small a amount of capital..

If i have a 1btc like you. I will just hold it and wait for the btc price to be increase Investments are very risky. You are a pretty smart newbie, holding now is one of the best thing you can do, I would not recommend you to invest with such low amounts plus the halving is also coming this year. You can invest it in gambling but that would be risky so the best thing with Bitcoin now is that you have to hold it and that is really nice for the Bitcoin itself and for yourself. But it can takes a long time until the value will be more worth and that is the bad thing of it so you need the patience for it to wait.

That's not a good thing if you are going to invest in gambling, very risky and there is no assurance that you are going to win and have the return of your investment there. Better to think another way of investment and trading would be a good one if not just hold it.

suggest trusted site . thanks
actually i think that you shouldn't invest it somewhere and better keep that bitcoin in you pocket as i am sure that price will rise in near future, halving for example but if you really want to invest, then avoid gambling sites because they are very risky usually even if they give you a lot of money, you can try to invest them into trading then

For me theres no trusted site so i dont recommend it because its not trusted for me but if you are asking if the site is paying i can suggest it to you. Hashocean for me its a site that famous right now and paying but i think this site is hyip that can run if the site manager get big bitcoin amount that he want. But im not accusing him now that he is scammer im just telling that he have a chance to run your bitcoin.

Knowing mininig its not profitable for today and if you really want to build new rig and have old rig why dont you post it in service announcement section and start posting their what type of business are you trying to build and put all the info regarding to your project plans maybe by then you can get more investors.

best to buy/hold onto your BTC's and cash them out later when their value has doubled or even tripled
