Hi guys is it normal for transaction to be zero confirmations 24 hours later?

Can you show transaction ID?  Something where we can see it would allow us to tell you much more and help more.  But if you do something like no or to little of fee being paid yes it can take longer or even not get sent.

Hi guys is it normal for transaction to be zero confirmations 24 hours later?

It can happen if the transaction fees are very low or without transaction fees, also if any of the previous transaction (input) if any of them is unconfirmed then you need to wait more.

Hi guys is it normal for transaction to be zero confirmations 24 hours later?

Well it depends how much fees you have paid for transaction. If you have paid 0BTC then it is normal to be zero confirmation even after 24 hours. It may also get no confirmation even after 24 hours provided if the fees is too low for the transaction amount.

I think you are new to bitcoin. So read this: https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/10/29/quick-bit-understanding-bitcoin-transaction-fees/

This transaction id is not recognized. maybe it is wrong? The end with "-000" is strange.

Also did you pay fees when sending?    It really is most common reason for this issue.  Some try to save a little in fees.... but if to low like above it would appear it did not get sent.

If important you can pay more and pretty much guarantee it hit's next block.

OP simply copied from his wallet, remove the -000 and you should get the correct ID.
Although in this case it doesn't work anyways.

If OP is talking about d47769ff46c9c429a3d5dba4fe2a24665f6d55e3f0903a320f533cd6bff47c44, this transaction has no fees and you have to expect a long wait before funds are confirmed or even a rejection.

All you can do now is wait.

If this is the OP's transaction which he is asking for then i have a feeling that his transaction will never get confirmed unless someone will push this transaction.

Which wallet are you using? Most modern wallet do automatically add a fee to all the transaction and don't allow sending one without a fee. When you send the transaction there should be a field in your wallet which says Transaction Fee, make sure to add at-least 0.0001 BTC/KB to your transaction or else it will take forever to confirm and in some cases, not confirm at all.

This transaction of yours: https://blockchain.info/tx/d47769ff46c9c429a3d5dba4fe2a24665f6d55e3f0903a320f533cd6bff47c44 isn't yet dropped, so wait a little longer and it might just go through, although don't hold your breath. It says "High Priority" probably due to the age of the coins.

I think that explains a lot , it was only after i had sent the btc that i was using a bt-q wallet that was dated up to 2013, have updated it now to core version, fingers crossed the transaction goes through.

You have 7 inputs. Based on https://bitcoinfees.21.co/, the minimum fees to be paid to get the tx confirmed is 0.00033BTC. I thought there are no chance to get it included  in the block no matter how long you plan to wait. I suggest your best choice is to close the wallet, wait for maxmum 72 hours to get the network forget the tx.

This transaction of yours is still isn't confirmed and it looks like it never will be and it isn't forgotten because your wallet seems to be still broadcasting it. Look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1412895.msg14320254#msg14320254 take these steps and soon the transaction should get forgotten by the network and then the coins will be back in your wallet to be re-spent and this time you can add a proper fee.

We have said many times that in order for a transaction to have at least 1 confirmation in maximum 10-30 minutes, you should use a wallet which dynamically chooses the recommended fee for you and this problem will be inexistent  when using such wallet. Electrum is such wallet and I don't know who else as a wallet offer this service.
