The prifotability of Ethereum is dropping fast. The Ethereum price is dropping and the difficulty is rising fast.

I would mine coins at launch, nothing else will make you more than a few bucks. way too much hashing power to compete with otherwise- mining pools and such. as another user said, use your GPU to crack passwords, that's valuable

For the long established coin, the mining profit is very average. You can make a lot by mining new coins.
