There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Anybody got a referral yet?

There are lots of referrals showing up on the backend.

You have earned referral commission too and will see it when Justin gets it displaying correctly tomorrow.

turning into a ponzi  Grin
No doubt.  Grin

jk

Actually i thought this was a brilliant marketing idea by the dev team. I know a lot of legit companies and people use affiliate marketing to help spread the word.

By the way, someone should edit your affiliate marketing guide and mention adding the link to social media. https://rise.vision/blog/post/a-quick-guide-rise-affiliate-marketing-program

It's not in there but Facebook and Twitter is always effective me thinks  Cool

It only means the market value of your Rise is also increasing. The more people are involved the more valuable it will be.

Just did some research in the management of this project. Alty definately has a past:

http://cointelegraph.com/news/cloakcoin-we-had-to-do-everything-from-scratch-only-the-name-has-stuck

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:CVFXHLUKtH8J:www.techinsider.com.au/2014/08/speak-real-altcoin-developer/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk

I really do not know about trusting him with a Real Estate Project.

Also anyone remember Zetacoin?

Well the graphic designer has definately worked with them before.

Testnet coins still do not receive a balance.

Affiliate Links are clearly under the developers control thus not providing any provable evidence of marketing for anyone:

As always if someone wants to prove me wrong that would be great.

I am delisting this from http://icocountdown.com

ICOcountdown has the right to list or delist whatever projects he wants from his own website. I've chatted with him often on skype and he does keep strict standards to help protect everyone. So I respect ICOcountdown for that. I have a tab open and check his site often myself.  Cool

The issues he pointed out will all be resolved soon so I am not too concerned. The issue surrounding Alty has been addressed and I will post what I had said before when Justin and I hired him as Project Manager for Rise and people were asking about his experience with Cloakcoin. Here is the snippet.

Alty (Cormac) was abandoned by his developer and did the right thing by handing over the closed source code to somebody that could take it over. The reason Justin and I brought him on as Project Manager was because he was the one that not only brought Cloakcoin its branding, but its philosophy. It was those two things that brought Cloak its amazing and memorable success in 2014. Many who have been around a while witnessed this. If you look at the coin now, unlike many that were pumped and dumped and were left to die, Cloak is still trading at a $500k marketcap.

Right now Cormac is not just our Project Manager with the exact expertise we're looking for, but part of our agreement when we brought him into the project, was that he didn't want to be placed in the same situation he was in before... He wanted some level of control and some guarantee Justin and I wouldn't abandon him. This was partly how the idea of Acre came into fruition.

Also, reading back through the previous discussions, people need to realize that Acre is just a bonus project. We have a lot of things leading up to that with Rise. Please read our White Paper here https://rise.vision/blog/post/rise-technology-white-paper

For those saying it's another Lisk clone, please read and understand that this is simply a starting point.
