I know I can send through QT but I want a lightweight wallet (other than MultiBit HD as well) where I can send coins to multiple recipients, using a small fee. I am avoiding Multibit HD since I dont have any option to change transaction fees according to my sweet whim.

Try Electrum. It's a little weird to create multiple outputs, but it is doable and it is a solid lightweight wallet.

Thanks for that. How about Armory 0.94.1 ? Oops its not lightweight.

Also let me know an android wallet for similar purpose. Neither Mycelium, nor the core app supports multi transactions until now.

Armory requires Bitcoin Core in the background, so it is not a lightweight wallet. If you want a lite wallet, don't use Armory or Bitcoin Core.

I'm not sure of any.

I've used blockchain.info wallet (desktop version) for sending coins to multiple users on a regular basis and never had any problem with them and they also do have an android version although I won't recommend using that version since up until couple of months back, I've seen users reporting some bugs so instead you could use your mobile browser for trying it. Regarding the small fee that you want, It's not a good practice to put as less fee as possible since you'll get confirmation problems for sure but I've seen blocktrail transactions and they do this but still would recommend a good fee: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/dfc2524de72be6ef87a2e31cd0b13049045eb14bc0b7b7d84e39c3e48a45ef20

I'm quite skeptical about blockchain.info and i tend to avoid online wallets.
Btw how was your experience with Blocktrail?
Aren't blockchain.info and blocktrail kind of similar wallets?

Blockchain.info is IMO the most reputable from all online wallets out there. It is ideal to keep small fracture of your coins for a quick access.
It gives you access to your private keys and offers couple way to backup your wallet. Definitely recommended if you want to keep less than 1 BTC.

You can use multicoins.org
It is opensource, support bitcoin and alt-coins.
You can download and unpack it to your local drive and it will work offline.
