I'm all ready to book a hotel, but there is no option on the expedia payment page to use bitcoin. Only credit cards. Did they remove the option?

Are you sure? Because I'm still seeing it. Where are you located? It might be that they have restricted access to bitcoin payments based on your current location.

I'm also seeing it. Maybe you can't book some hotels with Bitcoin? Send a message to their support and ask...

I'm in the UK. It could be something to do with it saying "£0.00 due now. Payment information is only needed to hold your reservation." What you reckon?

I'm guessing here, but maybe payments on that hotel are made only when you arrive there and not online (thus, you have 0 to pay and they say they only need your data)

It does appear hotel dependent. I just tried 2 other hotels. One was the same and only asked for credit card info but then another one asked for credit card or paypal.... still no bitcoin option though. I'll keep looking for a hotel that accepts bitcoin.

I'm having no joy finding a hotel that accepts bitcoin. Could one of you guys give me the link to a hotel that you see with the bitcoin option so I can see?

Yes they still accept bitcoin. Go to the US expedia site or the plain expedia.com so that you will be able to have an option to pay with bitcoin. It will no show you a bitcoin payment option if you use a local version of expedia. I hope you get what I am trying to explain because I'm quite mixed up with words. Cheesy

But when you go to checkout it will revert you back to your countries expedia page. Jacce's answer(though it was mixed up looking to me with her words used) did not help everyone who is trying this including myself  Angry
