Very clean setup I like it  a lot.  Looks like you paid attention to details.  Mind if I ask about electricity price?  To put in 80 wondering what rate you managed to get.

Best of luck though with mining!

Awesome, how are you cooling it.

you can clearly see that he is going to exhaust all the hot air outside, with that tube and air conditioner

for the winter i would try to use by redirecting it in another room

I agree. I saw some people already doing this, some of them for heating the rooms where they live, some of them heating green houses but anyway the heat shouldn't be just wasted IMO.

This is a commercial location we are in phase 1 with 80 machines phase 2 puts us around 180 machines so venting directly outside was the only option.

I built some quick rigs out the window with about 4 tons of cooling and maintained a 68 F  temp.

after this we went with a full outtake 12,000 cfm fan sucks the air out from the ducting plus the 16k cfm from the machines,

We also found out its a 80/20 rule with cooling when we vent so we went with this option.

We have 80 240v lines triple phase elec is about 6500$ per month.

We contracted one of lowest rates in my state and have permission from the town for a full megawatt supply.

We had to get a special license next upgrade is going to be 1800 Amps Triple Phase and our rate changes to 9.8 per K/Wh  commercial rates no industrial!!!
my partner is a master negotiator

This should push us well over  a peta hash and we plan on solo mining blocks,  Or running a P2pool/Stratum.
Been messing around with a beta Rpi Ubuntu setup.

Things are changing with the halving so reports are key. And a possible upgrade I don't know how long of lifespan these batches will yield.

We run 24 hour test on all mining pools and change with the work load we also split between networks to avoid the 18 shares per min limit.

I am going to the BTC/Coindesk convention next week I will try to post some updates from the venue

I have been busy running the network Cat6 with managed switches.
The Racks are temp and I am going with a setup like genesis mining groups build.

these are quick report site pics I sent out to my partners for updates so excuse the blurriness.

http://postimg.org/image/qwbwitzgh/

I am a IT Engineer for 10 years professionally. I have worked for EMC MS apple dell unysis etc.

I have a strong resume its half the reason I was given the budget with complete confidence.

I missed the web boom I was to young im not missing this one!

My partners are all IT clients I have known for years.

0.024 per machine avg

cat6 300mbps/300mbs FIOS (comcast is horribad 100mbps/20mpbs LOL)
managed cisco switches 2950

We plan on going blockchain 2.0 or testing beta next July when it comes out.

Bitmain s7 don't see us changing in the near future especially after the multi failures of other manufactures  ><

what horrible timing to start a bitcoin mining farm..

you do know you have about 70 days left before the block reward halving making all those miners useless?

Well, not exactly. It depends on the Bitcoin price, right? If all the prices, like of electricity, miners, etc. stay same but the price of Bitcoin will rise then it might be not useless to mine them.

Looks like a pretty good set up on first sight, but the first picture is rather small :p
In which country are you building this, if you don't mind sharing?

Well, not exactly. It depends on the Bitcoin price, right? If all the prices, like of electricity, miners, etc. stay same but the price of Bitcoin will rise then it might be not useless to mine them.

I hope you're right, but normally the price should indeed adjust itself after the halving, plus there is a possibility that the halving will create enough hype to cause a small bubble perhaps, all speculation of course Smiley

your logic is flawed..

if you are 'hoping' for the price to increase he would be better off putting all the upfront money directly into bitcoin and hold it.. as the miners WILL NOT make that much in the 70 or so days he has left to mine.

in the end, its a horrible time to invest in bitcoin miners.. he should have done research and waited for next gen machines.

Only time will tell. Maybe us little guys will never have the opportunity for the next gen miner. After halving the price without a doubt will need to rise significantly for mining to be profitable without next gen equipment.

I started around this time with a couple machines. I'm looking at it as a test run. As things will change in 72 days. Best to work out the kinks in everything now, so one the market changes you will have a better feel and strategy for the market.

Bittech went to NYC for the block-chain consensus 2016

We will have reports coming out soon.

The banking industry has come for the block chain and to kill bitcoin.
already changing the word bitcoin or coin to token seems to be the corps new buzz word.

The banking industry is going to make corp Commodities for value trust and trade back to USD or whatever base they use.
Is my best take to explain how block-chain is evolving.

So Visa coin built value through trust but private networks and private mining closed network chains

The trick is getting the masses to adopt.
Pay walls for the internet are being discussed as well virtual currency through Commodities coins/tokens

We will be working hard to bring bitcoin to the for front and have alot great products coming out.

Look out for our company products as we are a pro BTC mining firm.

Our financial analyst James will be revealing a breakdown later on this forum.

CEO Chief Engineer is my company position.

Pix in link look for the report from James soon...

He is going to read the block chain book beforehand the banking corps virtual currency platform

http://imgur.com/a/7ucgD

block chain is 84% of all VC investments of 2016 for a reason bittech is not worried about the halving we are well aware.

We are a beta testers for miner manufactures we are sent models before they are released. We are well aware of the next series. (months before public release/announcement)

As well companies send us beta models to try to get to change our form factor to theirs.

we have direct face to face relationships with the industry.

we are not new to this. we are just stepping out of the shadows

The life cycle of the machines are part of it. you have to be able to handle things.

You would of said the same thing about the s5's before the s7's there will be always a newer model

wu tang and 1.5 p/h are nothing to f with ^^

if anything please learn from me

Thank you for sharing your setup.
It is really cool to see the insides of a serious mining operation.
Any updates/ results posts are greatly appreciated!
