Any trusted exchanges I can use?

I have been using bitinstant exclusively for a year now. As most know, it is sketchy at best. Are there any other sites out there anyone can recommend that will allow zipzap payments or some other form of cash payment? I have been researching for three days now and can't find crap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have to link a bank account with Coinbase and allow them to transfer money from your bank account.

If you prefer to get your bitcoin with cash, I think BitFloor allows you to make cash deposits at any Bank of America branch.

If you are anywhere near Chicago, I can probably meet up with you and exchange cash for bitcoin as well.

Look for local Bitcoin User groups to meet up with locals and exchange.  Coinbase is great I use them.  I also use Mt Gox.

For this reason, I'd suggest that if you are going to use Coinbase, you open aseparate free checking account such as a Capital One 360 Checking account.  Then only link that account with Coinbase, and only transfer as much as you are willing to risk to that account.  If Coinbase gets hacked, the most you'll lose will be the contents of the separate account, while the rest of your funds remain safe in your original accounts.

Unfortunately for me I am in the middle of no where, zip 35640. There isn't a Chase or BoA anywhere near me.This has been my problem using some of the more well known exchanges, thus the reason for using bitinstant. As for linking my account, I have a slush account that I use for these types of transactions that I am not worried about compromising. I will only respond to the negative post by saying, Great job creating a conducive environment for the bitcoin trading market! Instead of being so negative why don't you try to supply options to perspective customers?

A priority mail envelope costs somewhere in the range of $5.  Find a trusted trader willing to trade with you, for cash, and send the money via USPS.   

The #Bitcoin-otc Web of Trust (WoT) can be used to get the trust history of some traders who will do this.  I have also seen individuals on the forum offering to do this type of exchange.  Casascius is one.  Also:

In the UK you have several methods.

Blockchain.info has "Faster Payments". The daily limit isn't too high though ("New users are limited to a maximum purchase of £100 per 7 days and a maximum single transaction size of £100.")

You can also send cash (GBP) in the mail to Bitcoin Nordic (in Denmark):

For larger amounts you can send an International wire transfer to an exchange (e.g., Mt. Gox, or Bitcoin-24.com, etc.)

One approach that is recommended is to use a currency conversion service to exchange your GBPs to EUR and then send the EUR to an exchange.    The conversion services would be TransferWise and CurrencyFair.  Then withdraw to an exchange like BITSTAMP.net.
