Cryptopia should be coming back online sometime this month rumor is.  How long this coin will stay on there is up in air though.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

XPTX Platinum is live at Altmarkets  https://altmarkets.io/trading/xptxbtc

Join us on Altmarkets Discord! https://discord.gg/e5S4Y9H

Thank you for listing XPTX, at least now we have another exchange to trade on while we wait for Cryptopia to open. I know XPTX is trading on Crex24 but the last time I checked the wallet was in maintenance and I haven't checked in weeks so I wouldn't know if it is out of maintenance on there.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Its appears that way with additional activity on twitter, he always stated he had certain plans for the project so lets see what direction it heads to. Its important to note that if you are having trouble with the sync of your wallet to delete the current peers and use the ones built into the wallet according to recent tweets from the dev/project manager.

The good thing is that we have seen the dev active on twitter which will put some members at ease. I'm looking forward to seeing the new website and hopefully it has some news about where the project is heading long term. While we wait we should all continue to support the network by staking our coins.

I have personally gotten a reply from the dev via email of a email from a few months ago.  So he is indeed back and active now to work on this.

Looks like the Wallet status is Maintenance at Yobit again so avoid sending anything to Yobit until they get the issue resolved, hopefully with everything else up and running they will start running more consistently again. Cryptopia still shows the market as being paused for quite a few coins XPTX included so lets keep our fingers crossed to get these two exchanges back in play.

I'm confident that Cryptopia will re-open the XPTX market soon as there are some big well known coins that also have their markets paused such as NEO so I'm not worried. Hopefully XPTX will pick up once the market opens up as that's where the most volume was.

Yeah it would be a massive process as they are downloading every single wallet and have to fix the api etc... so I'm thinking that it could easily be another couple of months before we see Cryptopia back to it was before the hack. XPTX really does need an exchange like Cryptopia as that's where all the volume was before the hack.

On another note, its good to see the dev is active on Twitter, I look forward to seeing the new website once its complete.

I recommend XPTX in my 'must-have blockchains' list: https://pastebin.com/cdNVwKVn

Hoping you will appreciate the gesture.

Best kudos.

That's great as XPTX has been and continues to be one of the best PoS coins out there. XPTX has stood the test of time and I'm sure it will continue to do so as there is a few well known names in crypto that are supporting this project since the start.

I've always been here.

It's nice to see what people post about me when I don't post here for awhile.  Shows who I'll listen too and who I'll ignore.

Just read over the posts since I was here last.  Interesting comments about me - even some people calling me a scammer.  Not sure exactly how I scammed people.  The coin really hasn't been worth much and any coins I own, I've mined myself just like everyone else.  If I want to sell those, it's up to me to do that or not.

There are some powerful holders of XPTX who I've been in contact with the entire time.  Bitcointalk is WAY DOWN on the list of places to communicate.

If you have the mindset that since you bought or mined this coin that I in some way owe you something, you're wrong.  Like I mentioned on Twitter, I'm not a CEO, owner of the coin, etc.  Just like there isn't a CEO of Bitcoin, there is NO CEO of Platinumbar.

Remember that an idea is worth nothing.  It's easy to blurt out ideas, execution is the hard part.  I've got a lot of people saying do this or do that, why don't you get up and do it yourself.

I'm deciding if I'm going to lock this thread or not because it seem to be getting toxic.  I could go and moderate out the garbage, but, quite frankly, it's a waste of my time.

I'll keep it unlocked for now.  The people who are posting here:  try to be positive.  If you think of an idea for the coin, get feedback from the community and if you get positive feedback, execute it yourself!  Platinumbar is OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE.  If you want to create something, create it.  It doesn't help the community to bash me or the coin or get all pissy that I should be doing this or doing that.

Some of you are more concerned about what I'm doing then what you're contributing to the coin.

Remember one thing, I've got all the time in the world.  If you want that clock to move slow, complain and do nothing to help the coin.  If you want the clock to move fast, do something, spread the news and be active and positive - be a leader and not a follower.

If you don't like what is happening here, sell your coins and get off the bus.  Someone else will come along to fill your spot.

I'm planning on be the most active on Twitter.  Go there is you want to talk to me.

Sorry if I'm not kissing your ass.  It's really not my style.

If I would decide to give up on this project, I will let everyone know.  Don't waste your time trying to speculate if I'm dead or in jail.

Lastly, I want to thank the people who've been positive and supportive the entire time.  People who've promoted the coin, setup and run other social channels, and have been generally productive and positive.  I would also like to thank the people who donated coins for the explorer and nodes - they're paid for an entire year!

Yes I will admit that I thought you did leave the project after the explorer and website went down and that there was no update from you about this. I have always been a huge XPTX supporter mainly on Twitter as that's where I do most of my crypto socialising. I still hold and continue to stake as I do believe in the long term future of this project and that I know some of the big names that hold and stake XPTX.

Thank for updating the OP, its nice to see you back on Bitcointalk although I can not blame you for not posting much here considering the toxic aspects of this forum. I am good with you updating the OP now and then and getting important info from twitter. So far I have not encountered any dishonesty or shady practice on your part and you have never promised anything that could not be delivered. Things may not be moving at the speed some people would like, but an important attribute in the crypto world is patience.

I have been in talks with you via email as well.  I also was skeptical for a while there when the explorer was down and no news came out.  That being said we do have much more activity on discord now than before and just need some volume to this coin.  I am one of the discord admins and noticed novaexchange was doing a free listing for all cryptopia coins as said in this twitter post from them:

Dear Cryptocommunity,

We've recently been reached by the news that Cryptopia Exchange is going out of business due to the severe damage that they faced earlier.

It is sad to hear that a fellow competitor of ours is facing these problems since all competition is good for crypto.

Cryptopia as a company has been around for many years, providing excellent trading, service and a healthy ecosystem for the cryptocurrency community.

In order for the communities to survive, especially the ones being traded only at Cryptopia, we at Nova Exchange would like to offer our help in order for the ecosystem(s) to grow, and offer free listing for all coins that were listed with Cryptopia.

The only condition for the free listing would be the following:

1: We receive the listing application before 1st of June 2019 through this form
(please specify Cryptopia Free Listing under payment options)

2: We ask their developers to add in the extra comments, addresses that they know that belong to the hackers.
This will ensure that we do not facilitate money laundering from people that are responsible with actions that are not in the favor of the cryptocurrency community.

Have a great cryptoweek,
Team Nova

I took the liberty of filling out the form (I knew about 95% of it for this coin anyways and gave my email/discord contact as well) to apply.  We will see if they list it as the more exchanges this coin gets on to get some volume back the better.  In meantime, keep staking and let it grow.  Nothing more we can do at moment than try to spread word and get the volume of this coin up.

If I've said anything bad or toxic I take it back.  I know you've been the Dev since day one and the only real issue I've had was worrying about the coin being delisted because it had seemed that it was abandoned.  I'm still staking and will continue to stake.

I won't say welcome back, because you never left Smiley...but it is good to see you.
