I'm always up for food. That would be so awesome for bitcoin if there was a lot of widespread requests for food for bitcoin!

I would probably buy some food with btc, but that would assume having a mobile btc wallet for local payment since I wouldn't want to take a delivery

I really do wonder how viable it would be to use Bitcoins to buy/sell commodities...

But I'll buy either a milkshake or a smoothie with BTC if I could.

Could you imagine going to like some sort of restaurant or store that accepts BTC?  Although, admittedly it'd be so tricky because of the volatility of BTC at the moment.  But if BTC does stabilize, I'd think it'd be awesome to go to some sort of restaurant and have a menu and see the price of everything in BTC; it'd be like some sort of surreal experience if you ask me.

I really wish there was a home delivery fast food chain accepting bitcoins. Wouldn't need to tip.

Mmmmm. Smoothies. As long as that smoothie doubles in value every week, hey, why not?

I'd rather be able to buy food, but milkshakes are good too.

I would buy the exact same stuff I buy with Creditcards and paypal as I would with BTC...IF only BTC was accepted by any of the vendors. I see a few small markets popping up, sites that look like auction houses similar to ebay, and thats good. but what BTC really needs is somehow to be as ubiquitous and conveinient as Paypal or mastercard, cuz I shop for all sorts of stuff online, but ultimately, the vendor who gets my $ offers not only the product at a reasonable rate, but also allows me to use one of the payment methods that I can use.

I can remember having trouble finding the stuff i wanted for sale from merchants who use PP only a few years back and now that has changed dramatically, mebby someone invested in BTC has some insight to PP's R&D over the last few years, cuz whatever they did, it worked.

But to answer your question, "would I buy a smoothie with BTC?"

probably not. It would spoil before UPS got it to my door ;-)
