New research which shows that there are 55 million Latinos in the US has highlighted the fact that legal immigration remains the single greatest threat to America’s future as a First World nation.

According to the latest “Statistical Portrait of Hispanics in the United States” issued by the Pew Research Center, the Hispanic population has tripled since 1980, and one-third of them are under 18.

The vast majority of these under-18s are of “Mexican origin,” and most were born in the United States to immigrants. Hispanics represent over 17 percent of the total US population and 21 percent of all millennials, said Pew.

Some 32 percent of all Hispanics are under the age of 18, compared to 26 percent of all blacks, 20 percent of all Asians, and 19 percent of whites.

Since 1960, the US’s Latino population has increased nearly ninefold, from 6.3 million then to 55.3 million by 2014.

Gotta have the legals. More and more Americans are legally avoiding taxation.

Income tax return amounts are the determining factor for how much Uncle Sam gets to borrow from the Federal Reserve Bank.

Need the legals so that we have more people who are convinced that they have to file returns and maybe even pay taxes... just so government can keep on borrowing from the Fed. It's the way things are set up.

Who told you that illegal aliens are not eligible for welfare payments? According to the study by Center for Immigration Studies, 62% of the households headed by illegal immigrants receive welfare payments (the same for natives was 30%). The link is here:

Illegal immigrants can only get it through their US born childrens (if i understand correctly you get us citizienship as long as you are born on us ground).

If by welfare payments, you mean their kids get free lunch at school...

If you can trust those statistics, 48% get free lunch at school, 22% get food stamps, 51% get medicaid

Only 4.5% are receiving actual cash welfare... compared to 9.5% of "Natives", which I assume means natural born US citizens since it claims 104.6million people

Theres no need to worry about population, esp when california and other states similar are high expensive places to live.

It forces people out naturally, so for the population situation fixes itself forcing them to move to near by states with lower taxes.

Welfare rats don't pay taxes. And only the productive population is moving out. There is large scale white flight to neighboring states such as Arizona and Nevada. The Mexican population is rising, and that is one of the reasons why the state of California is bankrupt. If the Silicon Valley was not there, then California would have been in dire straits by now.

Let's face the fact, US is immigrant nation.
All white people in US are descendants of immigrants, mostly seconds and third generation.
Because of immigrants US become great nation.
So, in my opinion, it's better that US government make plans how to welcome new immigrants from Mexico and other countries than fight with them.
In this way, they push illegal immigrants out of legal status and creates a lot legal problems for them.
If Germany could accept one million Muslim immigrants, surely US can do the same and prosper again, like in the beginning of 20thcentury when they accepted a lot immigrants from Europe.
