Bitstamp: Erste Bitcoin-Börse erhält EU-Lizenz

Die Bitcoin-Börse Bitstamp hat vom EU-Land Luxemburg eine Lizenz als Zahlungsinstitut erhalten.
Es handelt sich damit um die erste derartige Zulassung, die von einem EU-Land an einen Bitcoin-Dienstleister vergeben wurde.
Die Zulassung entspricht zwar nicht einer Banklizenz, die Anforderungen für eine solche liegen deutlich höher.
