Liberty Forum is this weekend in New Hampshire. Ira Miller (BTCinch/FeedZeBirds/Shit tons of other stuff) will be speaking on Bitcoin. Both him and myself will be there all weekend, planting the seeds of monetary revolution.

For those who don't know, Liberty Forum is a yearly conference put on by the Free State Project. Peter Schiff is the keynote speaker this year Smiley  Basically it's a bunch of gun-toting freedom-lovers getting drunk in a hotel and preaching to the choir. But it's a good choir! Bitcoin will be perfectly prone for cross-pollination this year muahahaha

Anyone here going?

Basically, it's Pattaya on Rails.

Seriously, knock 'em dead, evoorhees! And, remember! We want pictures, audio and videos, otherwise it didn't happen (stole that from some other thread).

Not going, wish I was though.

I second the sentiment: I'd like video of that presentation! Grin

Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom test. It tells you who is giving lip service and who genuinely believes in it.

Went great! Ira's talk was excellent, and it was very nice hearing questions that were intelligent. No questions of "deflation" or "money laundering" etc.

But beyond the talk, the more important aspect was that Bitcoin was a casual topic of conversation throughout the weekend at Liberty Forum. I overheard many discussions. Even some of the other speakers mentioned Bitcoin. It's finally starting to reach a bit of a critical mass within the libertarian community up here, and this is quite exciting.

Will try to round up some video, but I'm moving apartments today and who knows when my internet will be returning!

Thanks for making a video of it, Roger!

I'm trying to track down the audio recording (no video) from my presentation. As soon as I can get it, I'll combine it with my slideshow and post here for everyone to enjoy/use. Smiley
