BEWARE OF BITCOIN-EX.COM AND SOME DUDE NAMED ALEX FAITIN

Hi all,
Upon following a link suggested by Wiki, I submitted $425 dollars to purchase one BTC back on March 23, 2016.  The payment went through to Bitcoin-ex.com and to someone named ALEX FAITIN.  I waited a few days as they directed on their site for them to contact me for verification as I was a new customer.  After a week nothing.  I contacted them through their website contact page, where the proudly state they contact all submissions within 48 hours, and heard nothing.  I contacted them again and again and still nothing.  I wrote to the email address they had and still nothing.  They post a physical address as being in New York, but have no suite or office number listed.  Nor do the post a telephone or fax number.
I guess they are just straight up ripoff artists.
Of course this kind of purchase is not covered by any of the PayPal guarantees and I knew that going in, but the combo of the Wiki suggestion and the professional look of their site made me feel confident in the purchase.

The site is still up
Bitcoin-ex.com

The physical address is listed as:
1350 Avenue of the Americas
New Your, NY 10019

The name on the recipient listed on my PayPal receipt is:
ALEX FAITIN

I guess it's time to say "Oh well" and just eat the $425.

Thanks for reading
Kevin

It was March 23 this year and I don't have a clue on how to do a charge back.  PayPal stated they could not do anything.  I will now do further research on the PayPal sige regarding a charge back.  You have more info please?
Thanks

Christ, cloud mining is all scams--but yes you can chargeback.  I've never done it, but I'm sure someone will post the howto here.  That's good news for you.  Be careful in the world of bitcoin, because scammers are everywhere.

You can buy BTC on virwox use paypal but you must pay fees on there. Or you can buy BTC on bitcointalk with little amount for first time.

thanks all for the advice.  I just cleared a purchase from a person on eBay.  It cost a bit more than the asking, but I think it is worth it.
Hang loose fellas
