I tried to send a couple of bitcoin to a receiving address several HOURS ago with my TREZOR...

I chose to NOT us the PRIORITY mining fee -- and opted out for the less expensive transaction fee...

Is there ANY WAY -- AFTER THE FACT -- to UP MY FEE and get the transaction pushed through???

Or -- ANY WAY to CANCEL my Trezor transaction and RE-INITIATE it paying the PRIORTY fee???

Just curious...

Ugh...

I guess I have to stay up past my bedtime...

My niece is on her honeymoon at Leed's castle in England -- and I was trying to introduce them to Bitcoin -- it is not working out so well...

On a more TECHNICAL note...

My transaction SOMEHOW has a .46 btc "child" and is in Romania with a "very soon" confirmation status...

This is VERY WEIRD for me -- as I've NEVER ACTUALLY tracked a transaction before...

Mainly because it has NEVER taken so long...

You could double spend the transaction by resending it with a higher fee. I'm not sure how to do that with a Trezor though. There is no way to cancel a transaction and generally double spending to boost the fee might not work; it depends on the transaction you want to boost the fee of. If you used RBF (unlikely) then it is much easier.

What is the txid of your transaction?

You can ask / bribe a pool op to include your transaction in their work, again its no guarantee but it raises your chances significantly.
If the transaction does not get included in a few days it should be dropped as long as it is not rebroadcast automatically.

The only way that i found is through this website blockr.io/tx/push so you put there the transaction raw, but don't how much is its effect, even though glad that it is already solved.

Really you should routinely use the priority fee with Trezor to avoid delays if using myTrezor.com. If you want more control over the mining fee you can use your Trezor with Electrum. I never have a problem with my .0005 priority fee transactions going through quickly. The team who developed Trezor also started the first mining pool so if they say use .0005 if you are in a hurry you can believe them. .0001 is often just not enough anymore. If you want to economize you can calculate the cheapest mining fee to get your transaction confirmed quickly at http://bitcoinfees.21.co/ I always just use .0005.

The 0.46BTC child is likely the service sending your coins to elsewhere, nothing much. The location is likely determined by the first node who relayed it, it isn't accurate at all.

It can help with the network propagation if the fee is higher than the minimum relay fee of the nodes connected/ the service. If not, it won't be broadcasted.

I sent a .3btc transaction a couple of hours ago with cores standard fee which was 1175 bits. Its still not confirmed. This is the first time ive had an unconfirmed transaction as they usualy go through pretty quickly. Maybe bigger blocks/lightning network or whatever is planned would be good sooner rather than later.

I once forgot to pay a miners fee and sent the duplicate transaction again this time including the fee and it pushed through the earlier transaction. But I was told this was most likely a fluke but it did not feel like coincidence.
Thats as far as I can think to help I read abit about double spend but still do not quite understand the jist of it.

Does anyone know if a transaction with a low fee will confirm at all? I wasnt in a rush to send it but sometime today is kind of necessary . so far its gone through 12 other nodes but its still unconfirmed. I would have thought using the standard fee would have done the job.

There are two options for you to try.

1. From core wallet, try to resend transaction by using resend tx command.
2. Use RBF to push the transaction.
