You are willing to use your laptop as a physical collateral. Are you really willing to let someone invade your privacy by letting the lender use and access whatever is stored in your laptop. Think about it...

Its a new brand laptop with just some basic softwares installed.  Also an electrum is installed but not to worry , I will take a full back up of everything and will make it blank. Then only I will submit it .
Oh ok, I thought it's one of those laptops that you use daily where you store pictures and videos and it might end up somewhere in the web if that's the case. Anyway, good luck looking for someone who will fund your loan and take your laptop as collateral.

Well I think thats up to lender, how much he can lend with that notebook as collateral. He is trying to open the lending service again so he wants the highest possible amount
So don't expect any exact answer from op
The amount would be fixed based on the discussion between borrower and lender

It depends on current market price, condition of notebook, how old it is and many other factors.
you can get upto 80% of notebook resale value (not purchase value).
Share model no, and date of purchase etc info to check current price of it brand new and estimate price of used one.
