Bitcoin halving doesn't give opportunity to multiply our coins, bitcoin halving only make the block mining reward to 12.5 from 25 and it will just cause for the price either it will go up or it will fall down but as of now it's expected that after halving the price will drop because many users will sell their coins because most of them are being brainwashed that it's just only the right time to sell their coins and also secure their profits, so if that happens it will result for a massive drop.

Yes, but the problem is coinbase not support for country of OP and if you are update on this thread, you must add another website who accept credits cards for buying bitcoin.

This thread is old but I see it got bumped.   People have recommended Circle, and I wanted to chime in and say that they're great.  I've been using them for a while now and have had none of the problems that I had when I was a coinbase customer.  It's easy and fast.  You do have to link a bank account,  so it's useless if anonymity is your thing, but they're definitely worth checking out.

Yes I second this, the fees can be high, be very careful.
I usually resort to coinbase linked to a bank account, it takes a few days, but has always been reliable for me.

I think its not good to choose coinbase its always depends in country or place if where you live here in my country we can easily buy bitcoin because we have a company here that you can deposit your account with money that you can convert into bitcoin also the advantage of this company we can pay our monthly bills.. also you can covert bitcoin in to gift card that you can use in malls..
I think there other company the same as here in my country so its depends of the country.. but if you are in usa not only coinbase is the base to buy bitcoins..

I would suggest you to try localbitcoins and if you want to buy bitcoins during particular time intervals then you can try unocoin (not sure they provide services for non Indians) but the feature I liked the most. you can actually set your order in such a way that you will be able to buy $0.75 (minimum) worth of bitcoin every day or week or month. This will make your investment price as equal to average of that investment period.

Here in my country we don't need to deposit using credit card or to buy bitcoin using credit card. we can instantly buy bitcoin in easy way here in my country compare to other countries. Bitcoins here in my countries is fast growing they are release new merchant that accept bitcoin as payment..
