Yeah majority of users are using bitcoins only for gambling purposes as bitcoins gives them freedom and privacy to gamble without disclosing their identity and if bitcoin would not be used in gambling then I am sure the user base of bitcoins would be not that high as it is at present.

No problem with that if you really need bitcoin, you can disclose your identity if you are not doing anything illegal. Besides bitcoin is just a currency and it's not illegal to use it, you have to get your goal regardless of your purpose why you are buying bitcoin.

For me exchange website is much more safe when you are using some private payments or you can do visit coinbase.com for buying bitcoin using credit card but coinbase will ask you some confidential documents that you really need to send to them to prove that you are really the owner of that credit card.

Much better is local exchange if he is in india zebpay is a good idea if you are in philippines coins.ph is the best.. but coinbase is one of the good idea but there is limited country only that you can buy bitcoins..

The general sentiment is coinbase is pretty good for first time users. My personal experience with them has been exceptional as well. I had a weird limit placed on my account, but it was able to be resolved in a matter of days by their staff. I too would recommend you try coinbase if you wanted to start.
