What is the correct procedure to update electrum portable?

On my usb pen I have electrum portable 2.5.4. I downloaded 2.6.4 portable. Is there a procedure to update the wallet without restarting from the seed? Huh

Electrum portable gets its data from "electrum_data" folder. If you want to upgrade, delete the older application and don't delete the folder.
