This only bolsters views that Bitcoin is for crooks.

That's exactly what I thought. BTC's only good for dealing drugs, evading taxes, financing terrorists, ponzi shemes and now Bill Clinton. We need some honest folks to promote BTC and give it a good, clean image to the media.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

What's the ethical objection to dealing drugs or evading taxes? I have an ethical objection to people who vilify drug dealers and tax evaders, both acts are heroic and noble.

You guys have got to be crazy if you think Bitcoin can evolve to embrace the whole planet while avoiding any contact with politicians lol. The entire system is held together by governments and governments consist of politicians. Unless you wanna settle on the moon and use Bitcoin there exclusively with your own rules, you gonna have to deal with the fact that Bitcoin exists thanks to infrastructure put in place by governments and that separating one from the other is impossible.

Good news to hear bill clinton a bitcoiner. I was really amazed on seeing such a positive news for bitcoin community. I believe this will help us to drive bitcoin prices to new peak in near time that too in quicker and suddenly. Always we are happening to come cross such news but not significant effects take places.

Furthering a fucking serial rapist.

The serial rapist is probably heading back to live in the White House.
Sorry to say, this topic serves to further associate Bitcoin with criminals.

Dont look at that point, just focus on publicity and bitcoin popularity,i believe if clinton use and accept bitcoin, more people will follow her step,at least her followers Grin

I doubt that Bill will ever do something with that Bitcoin - this is exactly like gifts politicians and famous figures receive from people as appreciation tokens.
It won't be used ever as he has no idea how to spend it in the first place, nor he has no incentive or desire to learn. It was clearly a publicity stunt and it worked.
