On the 18th, I joined Hashocean. By the looks of it, I won't have enough to buy the minimum 20 powers after the 30 days are up. What can I do? If I manually purchase it (using the payment address to send the amount from my wallet account), will it be purchased as if I had bought it from my Hashocean account balance?

After 30 days your 15 GH/s stop working and just start working again if you make a investiment (They just want your money!). And if you do it pray for receive your investiment back because the site can close any moment because it's not a legit site, it's a Ponzi HYIP scheme. if you don't want to invest now you can wait until day 29 to buy 20 KHS but if you trust them, they minimum withdraw is pretty high. i think they based with ponzi scheme

Thats an error we all as newbies have done to join this kind of schemes which run away with users money in the end. I strongly suggest you stay away from this website, its a ponzi rather than a true legit mining site, so saving your bitcoins is the best option and mining nowadays is not profitable at all, with legit companies you can never ROI and with these scams you risk to lose all of your investment.
