Well, regardless of wether its him or not, Craig Wright is on the money when he says this :- “‘Identity’ is not your name. Where people go wrong is that they do not see it to be the set of shared experiences with other individuals,”.

I don't think enough people understand this - not just in the bitcoin space, but in society at large. Most of the hype is manufactured by the media to sell stories to the masses who, in turn, desperately want to believe in Jesus. You could say, we made him, wether he's real or not. We made him in our own image, to fulfill our own needs and desires. We made him through self interest. We made him to abdicate our own responsibility, because we are "all too human".
And we don't want him open to scrutiny - quite the opposite. Its necessary that he not be open to scrutiny so that we are able to more convincingly maintain the self delusion. Take some tips from the Queen of England/the British Royal family who have remained appropriately aloof for centuries now.

I have to say, I'm (at least) intrigued - by Wright, yes, but mostly by the whole phenomenon and story/drama.

I just hope that when satoshi is revealed no-one has their hopes dashed

Exactly my thoughts. Personalities of Satoshi - as we know his previous posts and his reluctance to be known and become public figure and Wright's desire to be famous are just so different, bipolar even.
In addition Wright didn't post ANY convincing proof that he is Satoshi, and I doubt he ever will. Can we stop discussing this guy here?

Enjoy those medical bills , we all know the signature was totally useless but what we don't know what the true endgame is. Gavin lost his mind? Gavin trying to get "Satoshi Influence" to push through forks? Craig trying to become a celebrity of sorts?

craig wrights agenda is to try using the media coverage as laymens proof of liquidity(literally proving nothing but only showing media stories, saying "it must be true the newspapers named me"), without having to get technical proof to a court. hoping the fame will also sway people to think the courts are only after him in regards to the ID fraud, rather that the FIAT fraud he done in australia.(millions of AUD of government budget/grants)

he is hoping for sympathy from the bitcoin community and will probably try to do a fundraiser asking for donations.. (no one will/should give him a bit)

as for gavin.... well he deserves a slap across the face with a wet fish to wake him up to reality
