There will be other Ripple fountains.  The reason they drew a line with regard to the account age is so that people can't just make a ton of new accounts and get multiple disbursements.  Nobody knows (except possibly an admin/mod) whether you already have another account on this forum.

Meh, I figured at 0.001 for 50k I'm evaluating Ripple at 2000 Bitcoins for their entire market. They have a pretty site and they're trying to develop a user base, so I figured I'd throw 'em a bone with a high eval

The mentality where you price something on its potential is dangerous and what creates bubbles.

Its value should be based on now. 

For me, I have a couple of bitcoins and while I would like to imagine that one day they will be worth $3k a piece, the reality is, its unlikely in the next few years.

.1 of a Bitcoin is £1.70 or so, and that's worth wasting on 50k ripples - that is half the price of a McDonald meal - I can afford it!

So, who is going to sell me some at this price?
