Hey! I'd love to get started Ethereum/Bitcoin mining just as a hobby. For my own personal knowledge gain and fun in learning. I don't want to make any really big profit out of this so I'm just looking for some hardware/software along with tutorials on getting my first mining rig up. Thanks!

Its looks complicated at the beginning (as for me), but once you write down the steps, its actually easy.
For getting started as a beginner, I created a series of ETH Mining HowTos from what I learned so far:

The steps are kinda similar for Bitcoin I guess: you need a wallet for your coins, a mining software (if you want to mine), and then an exchange account to trade/sell with other cryptocoins.
For learning about Bitcoin and everything else these forums here are gold.
