Hello People.


I paid for somehting with my multibit like 3 or 4 days ago, and today when I went to open it it was having trouble synching up, it like froze maybe once or twice so I closed multi-bit and re opened it. Since than.... The wallet will not load or connect to the BTC network period. I've tried restoring the wallet from different dates, I've tried repairing the wallet.. multiple times.  HEre is what I get when I seem to restore.

Restoring the wallet from different dates either seems to pause at the part in the SS, or it never makes it past the verifiying security certificates.

I've tried re installing it.......... I've saved all the files and data in the %AppData% for multibit... I DO have my secret words and date saved...

Can anyone give me a step by step instructions on how to transfer this to another wallet, or another service.. as I do have 80$ on the wallet... I feel like its corrupted.. and damaged.... Sad

It looks like it is having trouble with connecting to the Bitcoin network, rather than the wallet not loading.

You can check the 'Verify network' help for some tips on firewalls etc.

You can use your wallet words to recover you bitcoin on:
+ MultiBit HD on another machine (say a friend's)
+ Lighthouse (Mac/PC/Linux)
+ Breadwallet (iOS)

Instead of using a friend's machine, you could do one of the 3:
1. On your current instance try "Reset block chain and transactions" then leave it sync.
2. Uninstall multibit HD, clean up its files from %appdata% then install again and recover.
3. Install a virtual machine (eg oracle virtualbox) and install there all you need.
