I am using ANX debit card. It works well with me.

I haven't got one, but have registered to get my first bitcoin through one of the signature campaign provider. It has got increased access compared to other bitcoin cards.

Isn't the point that you don't need a card, you have it on your mobile device?
I guess if it helps people to use Bitcoin, then so be it, but it seems a little silly to me

Bitcoin is the new trend for sure, I even heard that soon it's gonna appear first ATM for buying - withdrawing and many other functions as some usual ATM.

Well Bitcoin ATM is already a thing few years ago it's just not really popular among the people in public places (as most of them don't even know BTC exists)
But if you're talking about Bitcoin ATM made by big bank companies like visa or MasterCard, then it's a new thing to me and hopefully will help people to understand BTC more as they can market and advertise bitcoin into mainstream media Smiley

I guess using debit card as a start is a good way to introduce bitcoin to mainstream use. Hopefully soon bitcoin itself will take over Visa/Mastercard as leading payment system.

Bit coin is a big trend but not a quiet new one. Many people don't even know it exist but there
are also people who use them allot only is it hard to get them. The best way to make the coin a big trend is
to put more publicity in it for sure it will work!

It is not a trend yet if there's no big volume of users backing up the claim. But as there are news coming out everyday about btc and the good it brings to the average joe, it would eventually gain more ground towards wider acceptance.

Regarding https://prepaidbitcoin.ph/ , that's not a debit card if you looked into the site. It's just a prepaid card and unfortunately, it's not quite known just yet in the Philippines, as said by some of my friends there.
While that, it is true that bitcoind debit cards are now becoming a trend which is a good thing because it is a direct publication of bitcoins to many people.

Debit cards that use Bitcoin are definitely becoming a new trend, and I expect we'll see more companies coming out with them in the future.

I'm not sure if we'll see credit cards for a year or two, but I expect they aren't far away either.

I thought the idea was to move away from these old technologies and to take things 100% digital. Why do we need cards?... Answer : So that third party services can charge us fees. The debit card

also removes any and all financial privacy you might have had before. The pseudo anonymity are destroyed by these companies and you have to abide by their rules and regulations. Use the card or the

account for something they did not approve and they will cancel the card and kill the account so fast, it will make your head spin. We do not need these cards...  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin debit card is an old story. few companies are issuing them from a long time.

But now the scale of bitcoin debit cards will be massive. I just hope no scam companies are involved in this. otherwise people will run crazy after they loose money.

Welcoming move indeed!
