Hi guys,

I have one IBM 2880W PSU not working. The top green light turns on when I plug it in, but the bottom light does not, and the fans won't turn on.

Do any of you have any ideas on what's wrong? Do I need a new fan pack? If so, where can I buy one?

Thanks again all for your help!

and do you have others that work?

ie do you have a breakout board?

plugging them in does not turn them on you need a breakout board.

are you sending it 240 volts if you do have the break out board?

the only breakout board builder

Make sure the fan pack is installed correctly. One of the PSUs I got in hosting arrived with the fans installed upside-down. The jack is keyed, so it was kinda smashed in there but everything fired up proper once I flipped the assembly around. I forget if it didn't power up at all, or if it just overheated really quickly.
