You need to be specific on your question or topic because each coin has their specific niche and works on their area of targeted niche like for example Rbies they are gambling targeted niche and Bioscryptos where they target the gaming community

Under each coin you need from scratch to develop marketing plan. One can not say what will be the best plan.
An analysis of manufactured coins, and give her strength in makrketing plan.
This is one of the options, in my opinion the easiest and most effective.

If you mean markets of alt coin. I used poloniex they support on smartphone. And if you mean about alt coin for trade my experience was ethereum.

Don't know about marketing--is that the same as hyping up a coin?  It's not like the devs take out ads anywhere for their coins.  I'd say eth was hyped for smart contracts pretty well and dash for anonymity (and monero too).

Hi sorry for not being specific. My point being seems all coins talk about the ideology of decentralization, POW/POS each with it's concept of the pros and cons of it, low transaction fees, the security. I haven't seen anything talk about the beauty of cryptocurrency or it's ideology differently(eth coming close)

Frankly I do not understand the question topic.
If you mean altcoins, it is a very sensitive issue, which commentators have said above. I can only add:
1. Low capitalization (much easier to pump 5-6 times than a coin with the "cumbersome" capitalization.)
2. A small amount of coins (don't buying altcoin with not active dev, potentially scam is higher. )
3. Update on the topics on forum
- don't buying altcoin in ICO, IPO etc.
- don't buying altcoin when the price rising (+100% or more)
- sometimes we must sell our altcoin, even we lose for buy back at lower rate

i have seen a lot of development and a lot of use cases and lot of real use of a coin named Gulden.
NLG team is doing a great job. so i think the make good marketing for the coin.

It's because you already point it out there is no more to be added I think all the features you have mentioned are enough to convince non believers to embrace the concept of crypto currency
