Want a free grid on the Bitcoin Grid, worth 1 BTC? I've selected a random number from 0 to 50. The SHA256 hash of that number, plus some padding, is 8d6c33044e5efc55d290d5c955d68143f15ad6c604e4b15cb5784d1dda28920b Guess the number and you'll get a free grid! I will then PM you with details on how to claim it. Or, you know, you could just purchase a grid and get an early position

I thought of the first number I would think of if I was choosing a number 0 to 50.

So, to boil it all down, you're paying 1btc to buy advertising on a page that probably no one will come see unless they themselves have something to advertise, and you can only use a 100 px square for your ad.
I think there are much cheaper and more efficient ways to advertise (your forum sig for one!).
Many sites like this use the line "be a part of history!" but I don't know who is going to look at this page in the future and say "wow, this is so historical".

Nice idea but $100(+) for an ad spot? No chance mate, drop it to 0.1 and you might get some interest, I would go with 0.01~ $1 which is what the million dollar homepage did http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/Unless your traffic hits like 10,000 a day it's never going to even nearly be worth it
