If you consider the  time and money use in making the village stronger, 50$ is too low price,, and for you the price of it is only 5$.. Then use your 5$ if you can buy an  account th9 ,with max troops..

Building with a th9 account got almost a year, the effort, strees is a part of it but if you are gem user then even $50 is not enough. So just keep your $5 coz you cant buy any th9 account with that amount
