Hey guys,

What would you think about a lottery game in this forum?

I have created a plan to carry if people are really interested in this type of game. My team as already developed a simple code to decifre the winning numbers and we've came with a simple methodology to apply for the game. It is really straight forward for the users and takes also a small effort for us.

What do you think?

Best regards,
The BetLotto team

i used to like lottery in general but i don't like them anymore because i have never had any single chance so far. and also i regret to inform you that lottery games despite being popular in the real world are not so popular around here and the gamblers. especially those who run on the forum without a website, and those with website don't get that much attention either.

and that is mostly because it would be hard for us to verify the winner, and also there is always small chance of winning.

@ crairezx20
Good luck to your lotto game too. And thank you for your input.

@aubert
As you mencioned security I remembered that probably I will need a trust worthy escrow to take the prizes and verify my lottery. As the method I was thinking about giving you a template and the only thing you would have to do was to fill it and after that send the money to BetLotto BTC address. A simple 2 step process.

@Herbert2020
What if I increased the chances of winning? I'm currently thinking about choosing 7 numbers out of 50. It could be more. And there will be small prizes for the amount of right numbers that you picked.
About the verification I've created a code that runs the template that the users have to fill and prints out the winners. It would be really easy to me to verify that with the code.

Its hard to comment on with so little information, I say whatever you're thinking of making, just go ahead and make it and then you can see if the idea works well or not. There are lottery sites like yabtcl.com where I have played with free and paid tickets but never won anything, after which I stopped.

Very little information you have given to us, still I think you are far too late considering the gambling board it has a lot of these services if I can call these services. Go check that section to see that if you don't have truly a plan to stand out from the rest , you have very very little chance here.

You are kind of late in the gambling-service race. I mean, there's already a lot of gambling sites. So how and why do you think that we would bother with yours. Plus, I remember some other user already created a lottery game with their site and promoted it here in bitcointalk. I forgot what it was and I'm a little too lazy to dig it up. I wonder how it turned out though.

Based on your 2nd comment on this thread: Regarding the need for a trustworthy escrow provider so he would verify everything and makes it safer for user, your in the right path however I'm not so sure about the transparency of your plan (even with more chances of winning). If I understood it correctly, this would be purely automated, right? If yes, then verifying the whole process for being fair is actually a hard one unless a well known coder, reads the whole coding system and verifies it himself. A better option would be to make everything transparent in a way that how traditional lotteries are. Everything to be streamed live and with this way, you could eliminate the need for extra code (just a suggestion).
