The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Are you only searching for POS coins or are assets issued on a POS coin also of interest to you?
Then you should have a look at the assets on the Nxt Asset Exchange, some of them are shares of real businesses, which pays dividends.

For example this asset from a dutch webmedia company: http://www.farlawebmedia.nl/assets/
